Types of insulation
It's important you read your building plans to see what type of insulation has been recommended by the architect.

Still unsure? Let's chat.
In general, all insulation have a default insulation value. Yet, some products have a higher acoustic rating than other products.
Installing acoustic insulation minimises the sound transfer between rooms and also add to the thermal performance increasing the homes energy efficiency and overall comfort.
All Premier insulation products have an industry standard acoustic rating making them perfect for any home.
Acoustic Performance
All building work in New Zealand must comply with the Building Code, even if it doesn’t require a building consent.
H1 in the building code specifies insulation and designers and contractors must prove compliance to local Councils that the new construction meets the minimum levels of H1.
We recommend that you go higher than the recommended H1 to get the best for your homes insulation needs. Not sure? We can help.
